Amid the rapid development of the global cleaning and personal care industry, Shanghai Binjia Industrial Co., Ltd. continues to enhance its efforts to deliver higher-quality and more practical products to the market. Recently, we have expanded our portfolio with a new supply product — Non-Freezing AES.

🔹 Product Features
Excellent Anti-Freezing Performance
With a pour point of -1℃, it remains flowable even at temperatures of -5℃ to -10℃. Even in cold northern cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Taiyuan, it can be used and transported without heating. Compared to conventional AES (10–15℃, prone to solidification), this product significantly improves winter operability.

Flexible Transportation
In winter, it can be transported by flexibags or tank containers in bulk liquid form, eliminating the need for drum packaging. Each container can load 24–25 tons, saving packaging costs and reducing logistics expenses.

Rare in the Market, Exclusively Developed
At present, only Sasol and Lianshui supply similar products nationwide. With the addition of Shanghai Binjia’s factory, this innovation further fills the market gap and provides customers with a more reliable option.

🔹 Pricing Advantages
The price of High-Quality SLES is almost the same as that of conventional products.

🔹 R&D Background
This product was developed by taking into account different climates across countries and regions, specifically optimized and upgraded to address the challenge of “freezing during low-temperature transport.” It not only solves the problem of solidification in winter but also ensures efficient logistics, cost savings, and sustainability.

What are fatty alcohols

Fatty alcohols are aliphatic alcohols having a chain of 8 to 22 carbon atoms. Fatty alcohols typically have an even number of carbon atoms and one hydroxyl group attached to the end of the carbon chain. One of the raw materials for detergent surfactants. The general formula is ROH. R of the detergent alcohol is generally a C12 to C18 hydrocarbon group. Such a high carbon fatty alcohol has an amphiphilic character, I .e., a hydrophobic group such as a hydrocarbon chain and a hydrophilic group such as a hydroxyl group in the molecule. However, due to the solubility in water is very low, it is necessary to add hydrophilic groups or convert hydroxyl groups into sulfuric acid groups, so that after the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value reaches the necessary value, the fatty alcohol derivative has enough hydrophilic groups to dissolve in water, and can become aggregates (micelles), the fatty alcohol derivative is the surfactant. For example, dodecanol is insoluble in water, but when it is changed into sodium lauryl sulfate, due to the addition of a sulfate group (-SO3-), the water solubility becomes better, and micelles can be formed in water, reaching a certain concentration, showing very good surface activity. It is the use of this characteristic, fatty alcohol as raw material, produced a variety of surfactants with various excellent properties.
