1. Product Core Positioning

MIYAKO XH09 is an upgraded nonionic surfactant deeply optimized for household washing, daily chemical cleaning, and textile printing & dyeing. It serves as a cost-effective, high-performance alternative to the industry benchmark AEO9.

It directly addresses four major pain points of traditional nonionic surfactants:

  • Easy solidification at low temperatures
  • Insufficient detergency on protein stains
  • Unstable performance in hard water
  • Poor solubility at low temperatures

While retaining broad‑spectrum cleaning power, MIYAKO XH09 achieves comprehensive upgrades in three core dimensions:

  • Low‑temperature solubility
  • Protein stain detergency
  • Wetting & penetration stability

It is a core upgraded raw material for various household cleaning, daily chemical washing, and industrial cleaning products.

2. Key Physical & Chemical Performance Comparison

MIYAKO XH09 is fully optimized in basic physical and chemical indexes. Compared with mainstream AEO9, it features a wider applicable temperature range, better surface wetting, and more stable high‑temperature performance, perfectly adapting to all‑season, all‑scenario usage.

Test Item MIYAKO XH09 AEO9 Performance Advantage
Solidification Temperature 8.00℃ 16.00℃ Solidification temperature reduced by 50%. Rapid dissolution without extra heating or cosolvents in winter, solving low‑temp solidification issues.
PET Film Contact Angle 62.95° 68.78° Contact angle reduced by 8.5%. Stronger wetting and spreading on solid surfaces and fabric fibers for faster stain removal.
Cloud Point (1% Aqueous Solution) 68.00℃ 74.00℃ Ideal for common household washing temperatures; stable surface activity without decay at high temperatures, suitable for all regions.
Foam Height (1 min, 0.1% Solution) 56.00 mm 55.00 mm Better foam performance, balancing cleaning support and easy rinsing; low‑residue, ideal for low‑foam, easy‑rinse formulations.

3. Core Functional Performance Tests & Comparison

3.1 Wetting & Penetration Performance

Wetting power is critical for penetration and cleaning efficiency on fabrics and hard surfaces. Tested by the national standard immersion method: shorter canvas sinking time = better performance.

Concentration MIYAKO XH09 Sinking Time (s) AEO9 Sinking Time (s) Performance
0.5 g/L (Low) 35.26 38.05 Better wetting than AEO9 at low concentration; efficient penetration even when diluted.
1 g/L (Normal) 24.11 17.57 Top‑tier performance matching AEO9; meets heavy‑duty cleaning needs.

Core Conclusion: MIYAKO XH09 maintains stable wetting and penetration across 0.5–1 g/L, with outstanding advantages in diluted applications.

3.2 Fabric Detergency Performance

Detergency was tested per GB/T 13174-2021, covering three common household stubborn stains. Higher detergency value (Ri) = better cleaning.

Stain Type MIYAKO XH09 (Ri) AEO9 (Ri) Standard Detergent (Ri) Core Highlights
JB‑01 Carbon Black Oil 12.525 12.130 12.288 Outperforms AEO9 and standard detergent; excellent on dust, mineral oil, collar/cuff grime.
JB‑02 Protein 4.825 4.788 4.550 Highest protein detergency among tested samples; industry‑leading on blood, milk, food protein, and sweat stains.
JB‑03 Sebum 15.125 16.388 8.988 Top‑tier level; 1.68× that of standard detergent; great for sebum, cosmetic oil, and food grease.

Core Conclusion: MIYAKO XH09 delivers broad‑spectrum, high‑efficiency cleaning for carbon black oil, protein, and sebum stains. It breaks through in protein stain removal, making it ideal for laundry liquids, intimates wash, and baby cleaners.

4. Product Core Advantages

What are fatty alcohols

Fatty alcohols are aliphatic alcohols having a chain of 8 to 22 carbon atoms. Fatty alcohols typically have an even number of carbon atoms and one hydroxyl group attached to the end of the carbon chain. One of the raw materials for detergent surfactants. The general formula is ROH. R of the detergent alcohol is generally a C12 to C18 hydrocarbon group. Such a high carbon fatty alcohol has an amphiphilic character, I .e., a hydrophobic group such as a hydrocarbon chain and a hydrophilic group such as a hydroxyl group in the molecule. However, due to the solubility in water is very low, it is necessary to add hydrophilic groups or convert hydroxyl groups into sulfuric acid groups, so that after the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value reaches the necessary value, the fatty alcohol derivative has enough hydrophilic groups to dissolve in water, and can become aggregates (micelles), the fatty alcohol derivative is the surfactant. For example, dodecanol is insoluble in water, but when it is changed into sodium lauryl sulfate, due to the addition of a sulfate group (-SO3-), the water solubility becomes better, and micelles can be formed in water, reaching a certain concentration, showing very good surface activity. It is the use of this characteristic, fatty alcohol as raw material, produced a variety of surfactants with various excellent properties.
